Tools for Distance Learning

In times of emergency, giving advice on distance learning is not only useful but also simply ethically correct. In these days, I find myself with many questions and with the need to give simple and direct answers. Here is an excerpt from a circular created for my school community and the suggested tutorials to quickly create an online course. The tools to be used are potentially many, but those that, in my humble opinion, are easy and immediate are the following: Classroom on Google Suite Education: to keep in direct contact with students, assign tasks, share material, monitor their activities. https://classroom.google.com Meet on Google Suite Education for potential streaming lessons. https://meet.google.com Other recommended tools, not included in the GSuite: Screen-Cast to record your lesson and share it on YouTube https://screencast-o-matic.com/ (Free software for recordings up to 15 minutes). Video tutorial on classroom: Video tutorial on meet: Video tutorial on recording lessons with screen cast: education/videolezioni-come-fare/ Here is the first tutorial to do: I would like to thank the team of friends and colleagues who contributed to providing and summarizing the guidelines and suggestions mentioned above (Andrea Goia, Daniele Greco, Emanuele Avantaggiato, Lorella Garbossa)
