E-learning vs Traditional Lessons
Discover the benefits of e-learning and how it can overcome the limitations of traditional teaching methods
The traditional "magister" lesson is in decline. The desk, the teacher with the pointer, the silence in the classroom are memories of other times. Training takes place at every moment of life and sometimes we learn more when we are not in class. The willingness to learn is a necessary but not sufficient condition for learning to take place. You can be willing but have a wrong approach and difficulties in learning with traditional lessons. E-learning can be a solution to your problem. But what is e-learning really? One of the definitions of e-learning is: training based on electronic procedures. By instructing students online, it is possible to distribute informative and training content using multiple media at the same time, and manage the learning process along the entire chain that unfolds from a central location to remote instructor and expert stations. The company can thus reuse and reconfigure information content with speed and ease, significantly reducing the development and distribution time of a high-value-added service. Online courses also guarantee flexibility and convenience, and reach students everywhere. The main advantages of e-learning are: – the ease with which distance training can be provided to a wide audience; – there are no manuals to review and reprint, but digital documents whose content is much easier to update; – thanks to these new training supports, the teacher can change the course materials "on the fly"; – in the case where the audience to be reached is large and distributed over large territories, the costs of using e-learning tools are lower than those of traditional training. But what to do? Relying on e-learning in our society has objective advantages, but I advise you to find a study companion on the same e-learning course. Fast learning often occurs through imitation, and having a companion and being one can greatly increase your learning possibilities. Group e-learning is the new frontier that should allow e-learning to overcome its intrinsic limitations due to isolation. Technology isolates and makes people isolated even if highly connected from an informational point of view. Society cannot exploit technology by denaturing the social essence of human beings.
