What is an hour of code?
By watching the video, you have certainly understood that programming is for everyone, from children to professionals.
Coding, or programming, is a highly formative and useful activity in advanced societies. It involves learning a formal, artificial language, just like English, Italian, or Latin. Formal languages are not ambiguous and are suitable for computer programming.
Observe the following graph:
Imagine having to work in a group without knowing how to speak. Learning to communicate is essential for working in a society where communication is fundamental. Without knowing English or Italian, you cannot work with others. Similarly, without learning a formal language like a programming language or mathematics, you will encounter serious problems in performing tasks that may be assigned to you. Observe the graph. 60% of jobs in modern societies require the ability to program, plan, and design, always using computational thinking.
Learning to program from a young age is crucial for acquiring experience in this language.
An hour of code is a well-structured project by an American non-governmental organization that encourages the study of computer science.
Do you want to start a programming experience? There are activities suitable for all ages and experiences.

Good coding and above all, have fun.
